Pre-recorded audio imported into Keynote sounds like crap

Problem:

I'm trying to merge a pre-recorded audio into Keynote 6.

That works fine.

My issue is the quality of the audio. It's sounds like I'm in a tunnel.

The audio was created via a conference call using StartMeeting.com and received as a MP3 file.

The audio sounds gets as a raw file as well as within iTunes.

But once I import it into Keynote and export the final Keynote with the audio it sounds like crap.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I need to be able to import a useable audio into Keynote.

MacBook Air, iOS 8.4, Keynote 6.5.3

and export the final Keynote

What filetype are you exporting it to and what are the exact settings used?

Does the original mp4 file play correctly and in good quality (not sounding "like I'm in a tunnel") in iTunes Quicktime player or Keynote in play mode.

If the original mp3 file is poor quality there is little you can do to improve it, including using filters in Logic Pro. Bad sound in = bad sound out.

Your dropbox link is invalid.
