My 1. year old mac mini will not boot.

My 1. year old mac mini, for the first time it will not start at all... it boots for four seconds and than it goes black and dead.

Any good ways to find out whats wrong?

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Try resetting the SMC and PRAM/NVRAM

Try booting to Recovery and repairing the HD
