CAn we talk my iphone also show self declaration 8527157400
No, we can't talk; this is a user to user technical support forum.
As has already been posted multiple times, that statement will appear on every phone sold in India or intended for sale in India. It says that the phone meets the Indian government's standards for safety.
Here is the actual text of the standard: http://www.standardsbis.in/Gemini/scoperef/SR13252_1.pdf
SO my iphone is absolutely genuine
Well, a fake iPhone could copy that message, but the presence of the message does not mean that it is fake. You can always call Apple and ask if the serial number is valid. Or use the Apple website to verify the serial number.
THank you very much sir I already verified all that information all
are absolutely genuine thanks once again can i ask you how u know so much about this
IN my phone too it is written and i bought it from amazon... But am finding a touch is little unresponsive..
There is nothing to panic, if you have a handset with "self declaration" message at back you then can see there is an extra manual slip available in your iPhone box. This is for regulatory information as per Indian standards. This is mostly related to power adaptors
Read the rest of the messages in this thread.
THank you So much for that...but am finding the touch unresponsive...sometimes i have to click twice to use anything... And it's brand new 😟 I tried to reset all the settings and switch off and on but nothing seems to works...app takes times to open and sometimes it lags

OK, that's unrelated to the subject of this thread, so it's not surprising it was missed. You may have a hardware problem. First troubleshooting step is to reboot the phone - hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
It's ok if it is missed... I have tried everything from resetting all the settings to doing the home and sleep button plus did the factory reset...even though after factory reset somewhat touch has gotten better but sometimes it's still unresponsive and it's lags..As it's not even a week old I have no other option but to go to the apple service centre..Never expected from this apple 😟
According to Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012 India standards, most of daily usage electronic goods should go through BIS testing and get approve to provide Indian consumers with the right to enjoy world class goods.
On meeting requisite standards, BIS grants a unique registration number. Industry needs to mark the details on their products "Self Declaration-Conforming to IS..." followed by Registration No. XX..XX. The standard number shall be followed by its year of publication separated with a ':' colon. For example "Self Declaration-Conforming to IS 13252:2010" followed by Registration No. XX..XX
Thank you for repeating what has been posted several times in this thread already.
In November 2014, The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) added 13 additional product categories of that will require mandatory registration from May 2015, and 2 additional categories of products (batteries) that will require mandatory registration from August 2015. Hence, the iPhone in your hand is very much safe and genuine. All iPhones manufactured and sold after May 2015 will bear this instruction. For details : Link: http://www.intertek.com/consumer/news/bis-expands-mandatory-registration/
Self declaration statement shows that its a genuine product which has been tested as per indian safety standards notified by BIS. Just like various other certifications specified for other countires, for india , this certification is mandatory by law.
