How do I find my Time Capsule generation?

Howdy,

I have done the option click to get the summary, but I really do not see anything that indicates what generation it is.

Clearly, I do not understand what I am looking at.

Here are some clues

Model: AirPort Time Capsule 802.11ac

I accidentally discovered that clicking on the Version number returns two numbers:

7.7.3 and 77300.1

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Wants to be a Mac Pro!!

So, you have one of the newer "ac" wireless models.

Apple used the Generation naming on "n" versions of the Time Capsule, so technically the "ac" version does not have a Generation name.

Since the last "n" Time Capsule was a 4th Generation product, you could call the newer "ac" version a 5th Generation if you want.....but Apple simply refers to the new version as an AirPort Time Capsule 802.11ac
