iPhone 5S internally cracked. Fixable???

So a few months ago I dropped my iPhone 5s in an airport and the screen shattered. I ordered a DIY replacement screen online and fixed it, so it was all good. But then the other day I dropped my phone again in the bathroom. This time, it cracked on the inside of the screen. I'm not sure what happened but my phone turned all different kinds of colors and it doesn't react to my touch. I can still turn the screen on and use my fingerprint but the screen is not responding. I was just wondering if I buy another replacement screen will it be okay? Or does the internal crack of the screen also put internal damage on the phone itself? Please help 😟
