iMovie keeps saying 'Turn on iCloud Drive' even though it is on

When I use iMovie lately, the 'iMovie Theater' keeps saying 'Turn on iCloud Drive' in the upper left had corner. However, i have iCloud drive for iMovie turned on. I try to turn it off and on several times in the iCloud settings. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there another setting that I don't know about? No movies show up in the 'IMovie Theater' even though I have around 6 or 7 on my other devices. (Although I usually have problems with the iMovie Theater not syncing correctly between all my devices.)

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

I Also spoke to an Apple Sr. Engineer yesterday. She had one customer with the same problem but never heard of it before. She said she would carry on inquiries. She must get back to me soon. Like you Willis Ellisson I think it is a El Capitan upgrade issue.

I Also have a problem on imovie for iOS. I cannot stream my iCloud theater videos. In order to read them I must download them on my iPhone, there is no other way. I also told the Apple Sr. Engineer, her other customer also had the same issue on iOS.

SO WAIT AND SEE WHAT APPLE S GONNA DO ?....

Hi.

Install the new iMovie 10.1 that just came out today. It fixed all the "Theater" and "iCloud" issues a lot of us have been having over the last few weeks after upgrading to El Capitan.

The new iMovie 10.1 allows you to share 'projects' across OS X and iOS.

BEWARE - Upgrading to the new iMovie 10.1 changes the EVENTS again. I've lost all my annual folders that separated all my events. Now it's just one big EVENT. Also, you cannot resize the sidebar screen although the icon to do so pops up.

Good luck!
