Got the Macsaver pop-up--could I have given a virus to a PC as a result?

Last week, I clicked on a link on a Wikipedia page and Safari was frozen by the Macsaver malware. Managed to get it cleared, but later that day my sister's PC got a virus. I was the only person she emailed with that day and she's not active online much. Is there any way I could have passed on a PC virus to her as a result of my Macsaver debacle?

First, it sounds like you didn't actually get any kind of malware, but just happened across a fake tech support scam. See:

As such, since this wasn't actually malware, it couldn't be passed on to your sister. She may have also stumbled onto a similar scam, or may have actually run afoul of some real Windows malware from some other source.
