I recently just upgraded to OS Yosemite and am trying to find my photos from IPhoto. I've clicked on photos to upload my library, but it's taken over 16 hours to only go 14%, is this normal? The speed of my computer is so slow after upgrading...

depends - how large is your iphoto library? Where is it located? what do you mean by "uploading"? It sound like you are migrating you iPhoto library to Photos - uploading involves uploading to iCloud Photo library, it that your question?

How fast is your Internets connection upload speed (in Mb/s)
how long should it take to upload my photo library into photos?
