Possible Iphone 7 Scam

I was scammed by this genuine-looking offer too in late August. I was aware that I was paying the $1.35 "admin."

charge, but NOT that I would be charged a monthly recurring charge of $161-odd! I have had to cancel my Visa account and pay the $161, as RBC Visa say there is nothing they can do about it. Their advice was to contact the vendor. Fat chance!! In future I will follow the caution that if an offer sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is!

Don't feel alone. It looked so real. What a bunch of bs. Well maybe next time it'll be our lucky day. Why do they do this to people? They didn't ask for a credit card number or any sort of thing. Beets me!!

Ya know after seeing all these posts about people just ignoring them...I feel a little stupid about believing it now...but after I took the survey, they did not ask for any type of s and he payment to get a credit card number or anything like that....I'm still baffled. Sorry, this is crazy.

I am getting this (below). I also get the free iPhone 7. Pop up. My only option is to either close the APP or click OK. I get them in both Safari and Google. I've tried switching Safari search from Google to DuvkDuckGo but don't yet know if it has helped. I do know that DDG is more secure with your identity.

I did the survey to see where it leads to, it did not ask for personal information.

It was just totally advertisements of free samples or sweepstakes that are already free. And the free items are sexual related or drug related.

Totally bogus, just some advertising.

Yeah, I saw it too. They say right up front that Prepaid Cards will probably not work. That's the sure sign that they are phishing for bankcard information.
