iMac & ADC display

Question

iMac & ADC display

I have an older Apple LCD display with the ADC connector, which I can use with my (even older) PowerMac. It's a great monitor, and I'd hate to have it just sit around when I upgrade...hopefully to an iMac.

I know there are connectors for mini-DVI to VGA or DVI, but would it be possible to go from mini-DVI to ADC? Or would a mini-DVI to DVI and then a DVI to ADC adapter have to be the way to go? Has anyone tried this before?

It will hook up to a mini-DVI to DVI adapter which hooks up to an Intel iMac.

Yes, thanks. But has anyone actually daisy-chained several connectors together to make sure it works with an ADC display? I just don't want to spend the $100+ and find out that it doesn't work. In theory it seems like it should, but one can never fully tell with technology.

Didn't really answer it...just will assume that a mini-DVI to DVI to DVI to ADC will work, if necessary.
