I'm trying to upload photos directly from Photos to Facebook on an iMac running 10.10.4. I've selected Facebook in Extensions:
but Facebook doesn't appear in the Share menu in Photos:
How can I get Facebook to appear in the Share menu?

Its very simple eventually! I tried to upload only 5 items from iPhotos to FB but one was a 9 second movie clip - too much info! But there is no dialogue to tell you so! It wold help if a dialogue said files too big or something! I deselected the movie clip and voila! The FB icon shows up as a sharing option. I sent the movie separately straight after.
I'm having the exact same problem.
I've even de-selected everything but Facebook:
Yet, like above, there is still no option to share to Facebook from the drop down:

I think I've found the issue. If I select too many photos to upload (50 seems to be the limit), then my sharing options are limited to iCloud, Mail and AirDrop. When I select fewer photos, then all my social media extensions appear as options.
That is the answer. Select fewer items and get more options.
Why doesn't Facebook appear as a Share option in Photos?
