Can i restore an iphone from two separate backups ?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4

No, each restore of a backup deletes the full contents of your phone and replaces it with the backed up information. Any information added to the phone since the backup will be lost in the process. Generally the latest backup has the most up to date information and is the only backup available through itunes. Getting something older assumes you have Time Capsule or third party back up app and recovery is not nearly as straightforward. Are you in the later situation? What do you use to make back ups?
