New apple ID for support communities?

I closed an old e-mail account which I used to create my apple for support communities. Can I change to another account for my apple ID; the newer account I have will also be used to receive answers to questions wish to copy to from support communities and for answers to questions I pose on support communities. Can I just use my name, above, of "Snoshu?"
