sleep problem

For many years, if I close a MacBookPro it goes to sleep and wakes up when I open it. Suddenly, it asks for a password every time I open it. Did I accidentally do something to cause this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.1), 500Gb Flash

Open Security & Privacy preference panel. Click on the General tab at the top. Click on the Lock icon and enter your admin password. If the "Require password" option is checked, then uncheck it.

Probably you did. But I know just what to do to stop this, go to this site http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/10/28/how-to-stop-os-x-yosemite-from-asking-fo r-a-password-after-waking-mac/ it will teach you how to stop Mac from asking for your password every time you wake up your Mac. Your Welcome 🙂
