IPAD 2 upgrade to IOS8

I upgraded my IPAD2 to IOS8. It is now looking for a pin. I never had a pin. I tried to restore from Itunes from the computer and it wont let me because I have

find my phone activated in the setup. What can I do?

If you choose to continue using this approach, you can proceed as follows:


  • Use a computer's browser to go to http://www.icloud.com/find
  • Log in to your iCloud account, select the device, and erase it.
  • Then click "Remove From Account".


The above steps will remove your iPad from Find My iPhone.
