Where are emails stored in Snow Leopard?
Depends on which e-mail client your using. W/o details, who knows?

The Mac OS X Mail.app stores it email in
Your Home Folder -> Library -> Mail
It will be in a sub-folder under that folder.
Thunderbird stores its email in Your Home Folder -> Library -> Thunderbird
Not sure where other email clients store their email
