Airdrop Isn't working on Late 2011 Macbook pro. Updated to Yosemite, Network info says it is enabled, all patches/updates in place but will not accept airdrops from my apple devices (iPhone 6 and the latest iPad). Network connections are fine, yada yada yada. Help? Suggestions?

It's working as intended. AirDrop with an iOS device requires a 2012 or newer Mac; your computer is limited to using it with other Macs.

I have an early Mac Book Pro with El Capitan but airdrop does not work at all not even with other Mac books. Please help!
