how do i know if i have a pad mini 1 or 2 without opening the box?

I have gotten a iPad as a present a while ago and have not open the box and I don't know if on the iPad mini 2 box is labeled iPad mini 2 on the side or it just says iPad mini. Please help.

Do you know the model number it should be located on the back of the box. If any match then you have a mini 2 and no it should not say mini 2 on the side
