Displaying two pages of the same document

I've just recently purchased a brand new iMac with Yosemite, and I was wondering if there was any way with this version that you can bring up two pages of the same Pages document opened side-by-side like how you open a book?

Or if anyone knows a way that Microsoft word can do it if you download that instead

Other than that, its phenomenal. Disappointed that they seemed to have removed that feature though. 😕

The facing Pages option was not added to Pages v5. I found no implementation of this in Word 15.11.2 in Office 2016 for Mac either. LibreOffice Writer in the free LibreOffice Suite has one-button facing pages functionality along the bottom of the document window, and has very good Word 2007/2010/2013 compatibility, though it certainly cannot open native Pages documents. It contains multiple office suite applications, and installs into Applications as a single application.

On first launch, OS X will verify the application, and then you will be presented with a dialog with an open button. Click the open button. This is a one-time ritual, and thereafter, LibreOffice will open normally. The manual for Writer, which I indicated above, was written in LibreOffice Writer itself.
