Yosemite upgrade notifications

I using Maverick 10.9.5 on 27" mac. every day I am notified about upgrading to Yosemite,which I do not wish to do and it is driving me mad. can anyone advise?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Try control - clicking on it and choose hide.
