BackBeat PRO sound quality using mic

Hi I just bought http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-pro

I have trouble with mic.

I'm pairing and using it with MacBookPro (v 10.1 - Yosemite 10.10.4) and while I'm listening it with music, and do this: System Preferences > Sound > Input

The music quality degrades its quality so much.

And when I close the System Preferences, in 3 seconds the sound quality back up. Sometimes the sound quality back on with L-R balance randomly set. (sometimes too much to R, sometimes too much to L).

I test it with Skype call and looks like everytime this laptop use mic, the sound quality in BackBeat PRO degrades.

Is this normal / acceptable in Bluetooth realm? I noticed the Bluetooth codec also changes everytime mic is on.
