My iPhone 6 got liquid damaged, and I boughtiPhone6 in the United States.
So, I want a replacement. However, I'm now in Japan.
Can I get a replacement even though I'm not in the country I bought it?

I have SIM Free iPhone 6. It's not locked but unlocked.
The iPhone warranty and AppleCare program are only valid in the country where the product was first purchased.

Today, I went to the Apple Store in Japan, and I got replacement even though it's not Japanese Apple care +.
Just wanted to follow you that Apple care + can cover damaged iPhones anywhere in the world.

You have not changed Apple's terms .The Japanese Apple staff were kind to you
