Issue selecting input on MS audio channel strips
Folks I'm a new and happy (so far) owner of an Apogee Gio that I've hooked up to my Macbook Air running Logic 9/Mainstage 2. Unfortunately a couple of things are vexing me.
a) I would like to have four different channel strips in Mainstage with different guitar sounds on each which are then blended to create the final product. The issue is: after adding additional audio channel strips I cannot assign the input so those channel strips are active. When clicking the "Input" button the popup menu shows "Input" but when I click "Input" nothing appears.
b) If Mainstage isn't capable of the above, I've prepared a project in Logic 9 using the four, aforementioned channel strips, which is great and I get the blended sound.
What I'd like to do is change to the next or previous project using Gio but don't know if that's possible. All the documentation I've read refers to being able to change to the next or previous track but nothing about the next project.
Reason being is I need to go to a different tempo for the next song as the effects are synched to the song tempo.
While it wouldn't be the end of the world I'm hoping to avoid having to manually type in the tempos in the project.
Any advice is much appreciated.
all the best,
