Camera not connecting
Hi, my camera in my Macbook air is not connecting. every time i open photo booth or FaceTime it says camera not connected. someone please help me fix this?

this did not apply to my issue. my camera in my MacBook Air (early 2014 model) is not working. when i try to use it, it says camera is not connected
In fact, it does apply to your issue. You should first reset the SMC as directed in the support article, and if that doesn't work, arrange for the machine to be serviced.

As Linc has already told you, it really does apply.
Over time, Apple changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD."
Regardless of the name of your camera, the same http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 info and troubleshooting applies.
