I've been trying to connect my hearing aid to my macbook and I'm stumped as to how to do it. I can connect it to my iPod easy but there's no 'hearing aid' section in my macs accessibility and bluetooth wont pick it up. any advice or help?

Sorry, but Macs do not support hearing aids. Only iOS devices.

True enough about Macs not supporting hearing aids, but how do we make that happen? I'd love to stream audio from my mac to my hearing aids the same way I do with my iPhone. Seems the technology is already there to do it. What does it take to get the will to do it?
I agree! I would love to be able to connect my hearing aids to my MacBook Air. Curious that it can be done with mobile devices but not laptops.
There are times that I want to livestream audio from a link on a webpage. This cannot be accomplished on a mobile device, but can be done on the laptop. However, I have to either put headphones/earbuds over the hearing aids (which is awkward) or remove the hearing aids and turn the volume WAY up so that I can hear. It would be nice if I could stream the sound to my hearing aids like I do with my iPad.
