In Settings > Cellular there is a heading, "USE CELLULAR DATA FOR:". It's a list of apps, each with a switch to allow it to use cellular data or not. Please take a look at my screenshot... can anyone tell me what that first icon with no name represents? Thanks.User uploaded file

It looks like an app that you may have attempted to update and did not finish. Can you check your home screens and see if you see one matching it? You might also try a reset to clear it. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release This can take up to 30 seconds. After that phone reboots, then check.

Tried that, nothing changed. It's pretty weird, that icon doesn't appear anywhere on my homepage. I opened Safari & deleted all bookmarks & history & reset the phone again, no change.

I experience things like this from time to time. Unexplained bugs that don't necessarily stop my from using the phone. Maybe with the next update this will go away. Actually my reason for wondering about it was looking into my staggering rise in data usage. I'm pretty sure it's because other people on my plan are using Facebook & Twitter apps, and I just learned those apps' autoplay feature has multiplied a lot of peoples' usage. So this little icon is probably of no consequence.
