vmware fusion not compatible after upgrade to yosemite, how do I access windows partition?

Hi All,

Any help would be really appreciated here as I feel like I'm out of my league with this and do not want to do anymore damage. Its been a while since I did any updates to my iMac and decided yesterday to update to the new Yosemite. When I did this the version of VMware Fusion (3.1.2) is no longer compatible with the new software. I do not know how to access my windows partition now. If I upgrade my version of VMware Fusion will it erase the one I have installed now along with windows? Can I undo what I did yesterday? If I use boot camp will that erase what is already there? I have programs running on the windows side that I need for work and am really hoping that I won't loose them with what I did. Any advice would really be appreciated here. Thanks so much to anyone who can help me out!!!

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), null
