If I went into an apple store could someone help me install parallels and windows on my macbook pro?
Just wondering, I don't want to mess up the installation.

You have to ask at the Apple Store, but I don't think so. Anyway, if you plan on installing Windows through Parallels, it is a very easy process that will not put your Mac and your files in risk, because you will be using a virtual machine. You can ask us for help if you need it anyway 😉.
Two things may influence the yes or no. If you bought the machine from that store in the first place ,,, and if the genius bar has someone who had a good breakfast.
There is no obligations so its all down to your approach and from my experience you are sometimes more likely to get this extra service from a premium re-seller than an Apple store - simply because they tend to be less busy. But the key may be where you bought it and how long ago.
The installation is a piece of cake. It' walks you through step by step. Utilize some self reliance, have faith in yourself and just do it.
Follow the instructions located here:
I'd like to think they would, Bob. After all, Apple got the big order, though I appreciate your thoughts. There are a few (very few) programs that are better than Apple's. And don't ask me which, that would start a whole new thread. 😀
I recently installed Parallels on a 2013 iMac, 2013 MacBook Pro, and 2009 MacBook Pro. Parallels installation and the corresponding Windows installation went very smoothly.
Definitely a "do-it-yourself" project.
The only tricky part was getting the free upgrade to Windows 10. Microsoft makes that more difficult than it needs to be.

What are you talking about? The original poster needs help installing Parallels. Where better to go than to the Parallels support site?
Greetings, Bobthefisherman,
No mis-information or disagreement meant. I just formed the distinct impression that the OP was new to his iMac machine.
When I first bought my iMac and knew absolutely zilch about it, the Apple store near me went out of their way to prepare the machine for me to use. It didn't involve windows but it did go as far as setting it all up to for me. They went to much trouble to incorporate a new external HD (bought elsewhere by my son) for my Time Machine needs and set up a
printer (this time bought from the store) too ... and that is what has given me faith in the people in the stores. I've always found them agreeable whatever silly questions I ask ... perhaps it's my obvious age, now nearly 79.
