Thanks for the response. I want to leave 1 mouse at the office and use the other mouse at home. I've one mouse connect via blue tooth but was unable to connect the 2nd mouse (even though the 1st mouse was at a separate location).

As far as I know, that would not work (having the two mice connected at the same time - even though one was not in the vicinity of the computer). The system would not allow connection of the second BT mouse.

would it be possible to disconnect and then connect the 2nd mouse? And if so, how would I do it?

You would have to delete from system preferences>Bluetooth (turn it off first). Then restart your computer with the other mouse on. That should work.
