Hello everyone,
Found this article on the internet, but it's for the old version of Garageband.
Does anyone know how to do this on Garageband X?
I have Mainstage, and using autosampler and 3rd party EXS24 samples, I think I could greatly expand garageband, too.

Forget about all these "old" procedures in GarageBand 11, they don't work anymore. Now in GarageBand X it is more restrictive but at the same time more simple. Welcome Patches, your new cross-app friend:
In Logic
In GarageBand
GarageBand and Logic share many things, including the Patches (system and user)

This was spot on!
At first, I didn't see the "User patches" folder under Garageband's library, but once I created a patch in Mainstage and restarted GB, it was there.

Do you know whether the EXS sounds from GarageBand 5 & 6 which aren't recognised in GarageBand 10 will still open in Logic X?
I am wondering whether it's just easier to transition to Logic in order to smoothly continue the catalogue work I started in GarageBand 5.
