dimensions and weight of 21.5" Imac packed for shipping

I am trying to find out the weight and dimensions of a 21.5" iMac when in its box ready for shipping. Apple cannot give me an answer which is surprising as, they ship computers all over the world so, must have this information. Most products in the world have the weight and dimensions of the product as well as the weight/dimensions of the item in its box. This is standard business practice. so, can anyone kindly tell me the weight/dimensions of a 21.5" (mid 2011) Imac in its box please?

Thank you.

This link as the size and weight of the iMac. Which is probably as close as you'll get without measuring an actual box that Apple uses to transport it's product. I'm sure its safe to say you could add a couple extra inches for "box and packaging material" and maybe a pound or so for those materials as well. Hope this at least helps and gets you in the right direction of information you are looking for.

Thanks BATGIRL but there appears to be no information anywhere from Apple re shipping specs which as I said before is normal for most products on sale. I had already seen the links that you supplied but thank you for your help. Have now bought my new iMac and seller is arranging shipping, albeit at at great cost as, very few people will shift iMac's in the UK as, they say that there are banned substances within them (lithium battery) and will not carry them as they are forbidden by their insurers. I think we are talking a watch/camera battery here for back-up clock in computer. It's a strange world we live in.
