Tunes on Apple TV come from iPad or PC?

Not quite to my point. I activate Home Sharing on my PC, I pad and Apple TV. Then go to Apple TV to play music. Is the music I am playing from the iPad or the PC - or from both?

Apple Support Communities updatesNot sure we have the true answer yet. While waiting for your recent response I did some experimenting. I downloaded a tune on my iPad, went to Apple TV. The tune was there(only after I opened iTunes on the PC) and I played it. Went to my PC(W7), looked at iTunes and the tune was not there until I downloaded it from the Apple Store. So ---my conclusion is that Apple TV displays songs from both iPad and PC and that Apple TV can&#x27;t play music until ITunes is turned on on the PC. Seems the PC is the controlling app for the Apple TV system.
