on 3G there is no reason why not as long as the iPhone really is carrier lock free
Hello wegras
Thanks so much for your reaction.
I bought my phone without subscription from a provider, I chose my own provider, i assume that means carrier free?
So i just buy a prepaid card in Canada at Rogers company (GSM network) and I remove my current card?
Kind regards

Yes
I would also assume if you purchased from a carrier but without a contract and you are using another carrier's network then it should certainly be fine
I am cautious as in UK generally the only source of not locked iPhones is from Apple as it is in most places (3 Network is only exception in UK the gave up locking iPhones completely a couple of years ago )
So yes a local PAYG sim in Canada should do the trick Netherlands out and in with Rogers
There are several Canadians here possibly one may confirm the Canadian end for you
Hello again and thanks very much again!
Yes, fortunately I bought my Iphone in a Mac store so that makes things easier!
I maybe have a tip for you.. I'm using the RingCredible app. A sort of Skype but you can also make calls without VOIP.
It's working great and it's cheap.
Kind regards
Ellen 😉
Mac Store ,ummm 😕
Check the Mac store on this document to ensure they are authorised to sell iPhones if so no worries ,if not you don't know where they obtained their stock
and that raises questions
