Can I use my iPhone bought in the Netherlands in Canada?

I Have a simlock free iPhone 5 bought in the Netherlands.

Can I use my IPhone in Canada with a sim card of a local provider in Canada?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4.1, Sim lock free

I would also assume if you purchased from a carrier but without a contract and you are using another carrier's network then it should certainly be fine

I am cautious as in UK generally the only source of not locked iPhones is from Apple as it is in most places (3 Network is only exception in UK the gave up locking iPhones completely a couple of years ago )

So yes a local PAYG sim in Canada should do the trick Netherlands out and in with Rogers

There are several Canadians here possibly one may confirm the Canadian end for you
