your iCloud session has expired

On my Mac (Most current OS X and Most Current iTunes)....when I'm not connected to the internet, I get, "Your iCloud session has expired".

It's absurd. I'm not online. I just want to listen to music.

I've reset all my caches and cookies. Why does this problem exist?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Rich, did you follow the link? The original poster in that thread reported that the problem was solved by this tip:

I experienced the same problem on my MacBook Pro and tried quite a number of things (including deleting my iTunes library on this machine and creating a new one) without success.

What finally did the trick was do delete all my browser cookies in Safari (Safari > Preferences... > Privacy > Remove All Website Data.)
