Podomatic submission failure in iTunes

Hi,

Sorry for asking on the forum, I have been searching all over the net for the answer but I can't find it. I created a podcast feed on podomatic, then i submitted the following feed to the podcast/itunes system:

http://simonbostock.podomatic.com/rss2.xml

I didn't know about the feed burner website so I received a rejection from iTunes on email, checked on the feeder initially and it was missing the contact email address. Fixed that and now feed burner seems to be showing up ok. Problem is, I can't find a way of resubmitting the feed url because it already has been submitted in tunes and I get the message "This feed has already been submitted" error.

I imagine changing the rss2.xml to something else might help but I don't think you can do that within podomatic so I'm kinda stuck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Simon

You've fallen over a bug in the automated part of the submissions process whereby you are told a feed has already been submitted even if it was subsequently rejected or removed. The workaround is to change the title slightly - you can change it back once accepted provided doing so does not change the feed URL. If you can change the feed filename, and hence its URL, this is also a good idea, as is changing the URL in the 'link' tag (this can easily be changed back afterwards). If you can't get this to work, go to https://itunespodcasts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and click the disclosure triangle at the right of the 'Choose a topic' field - choose 'Submission enquiry' as the nearest appropriate option and explain what the problem is.
