Hi guys,
So on my macbook pro retina 15 inch running windows 8.1 pro, I downloaded windows updates. The fans started going at full speed and when I rebooted , I felt like the backlit keyboard took more time to get on, and I was wondering if it is safe to download those windows update. When I downloaded them, it says restarting because the mac had to restart then i restarted into mac os x then i went back to windows.
It restarted automatically to mac os thats why i had to switch back. And when I switched back to windows, i felt like the backlit keyboard took more time to get on

Can you check msinfo32 on the Windows side and find out whether it is a BIOS installation or a UEFI?
