I would like to share books but not calendar or photos. Help

can I limit what I share if using that feature. No need to share calendar, photos etc. just books with iPad user husband.

iPad 2, iOS 8.4.1

Hello Kleepster,
I understand that you would like to limit what you share with your husband. That is not a problem with Family Sharing.
If you are using Family Sharing, it only add an addition to certain items. For example, in the Photos app you will see an album that is specific for Family Sharing and does not share everything in camera roll. You would be the one in control on adding content to that album.
The same goes for calendars. You will have one calendar that you share between each other. As long as you do not add any content to the Family Sharing calendar, nothing will be shared with him or anyone else that is part of Family Sharing.
Purchases will be shared and it will be for all purchases in the App Store, iTunes Store and iBooks Store. If you want, you can hide some purchases that you do not want to share.
