I do not understand why WhatsApp can't be used on an iPad. Such a popular app and I can't enjoy it on my iPad. Can't Apple work around those "software limitations" and relieve of this unfortunate misery....

OK...but it just don't make sense....
It should run in 2X compatibility mode.
For a native iPad app, as stedman1 has said, that's up to the developer, not Apple.

i did ask them as u suggested, and indeed their FAQS mention that Whatsapp is not yet supporting ipads. It is strange, because i used to have it on my old ipad. Now the mini, it cannot be downloaded
