After updating to 8.4.1 I do not have a cellular data network listed in settings. Cellular data is on and contract is valid.

If you don't see a cellular data network listed in Settings on your iPhone, making sure that cellular data is on and that your contract is valid are good steps.

Still no joy after completing the six steps. I've been told I need a new sim card, which seems likely since the phone still works and connects via wifi. Thanks anyway.
