Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I've been given my sisters iphone 5 as she has a iphone 6. She has removed the iphone 5 from her icloud (find my iphone) but when I get to the activation screen it still asks for her apple id and password. So I put in her details and it now says cannot use this apple id. confused. Not sure of operating system as she stopped using the phone Nov 2014.

Unfortunately she did not do all of that. She deleted the phone from her iCloud but that was all. That was back end of last year. So all I have now is a new sim and a activation locked phone. The weird thing is it asks for her Apple ID but when I enter it I get a msg saying "this ID cannot be used to unlock this phone"?
Best to have her do all that now.
