the share does not exist on the server.
I have a mac mini that has mavericks server installed. on my macbook Pro Retina, i setup a script to mount several shares on the mini. all are shared via afp and smb. i one day got the following message on my macbook pro: There was a problem connecting to the server "192.168.x.x" The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name and then try again. if i try to browse the server by selecting go connect to server and enter the ip address of my server, i get a message that there are no shares on the server. when i open my server app and connect to the server, it says the server is running and sharing my folders. Turning off and turning on file sharing fixes the issue. this has happened a few times now. has anyone else had this issue? its very annoying to have to restart the file sharing every so often. does anyone have any troubleshooting steps to take to pin point the source of the problem? at the current time, my server has been running for about a day and a half.
