number of songs missing from album on iPad

Recently purchased an album from eMusic, all the songs are showing on my computer but iPad is missing songs 1 - 8 , 9 - 14 of the 14 songs show up.

On iTunes in my music library there's cloud icons to the right of the 8 songs that didn't make it.

How can I fix this?
