Lightning to HDMI stopped working

I've been using the lightning to HDMI adaptor for a few months, everything used to go smoothly until I did the recent update to 8.4.1. The adaptor works on and off so I'm pretty sure that there ain't a problem with the hardware. I reckon there might be some compatibility issues! So frustrated by the Apple! It doesn't work with my iPhone 5s too. I wish I hadn't updated my iOs. it's a write off! How can I get my lightning get to working again?

I have to say if it's the case, it will raise more questions. Firstly, if it's against the copyright laws, why are they still being sold by apple? selling something which doesn't work due to copyright rules sound quite absurd. 😕 Secondly, it's a rip-off to produce something and selling it while it doesn't work! Moreover, I have just restored my iPad and the gizmo seems to work more often! 9 times out of 11, so if it were a copy write issue it wouldn't have worked at random! I'm pretty sure there's a compatibility issue and needs to be fixed by apple. this is irresponsibility of theirs to force their customer to buy another piece of equipment which serves the same purpose simply because they don't SUPPORT another gizmo which they're STILL selling on their website! isn't it weird?

In addition to this, the connection seems to be interrupted while the cable is moved, a time lag! As you might know there is an ARM processor and some RAM, 256 MB I reckon, inside the adaptor, so it is a small computer to which the data is send by the iOS. this delay shows that there's a problem in sending and receiving the data.
