Hi All. I need help. Am using MacBook OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. Photos Version 1.0.1. All my photos disappeared from the folders. The folders are there but they are empty. Can i get my photos back or did i loose them? Thanks

Press ⌥⌘S to reveal your Sidebar (if it was hidden) and tell me what you see in the left column. Something like this:
If you can't get back to your photos this way, quit Photos and launch it again with the Option (Alt or ⌥) key depressed, and see if you can locate another library that might contain your pictures.
If you double click to enlarge does it enlarge correctly? If so in the small thumbnail view select a group and rotate 90 degrees then rotate back - this forces a redraw of the thumbnail - you can do this for large groups of up to about 1000 at a time
