how change iCloud account on iPhone/iPad?

About one month ago I changed jobs (after 19 years) and had updated my iTunes account with my personal email address. My iPhone and iPad keeps prompting me to enter my password for my iCloud account with the old email address. How can I change the account name on my devices? I don't want to lose my photo's because I haven't been able to upload them to my PC. I keep getting an error. I suspect the root cause of the problem is related to my iCloud account issue? 😕

If you just changed user name - you needed to sign out of icloud first. If you didn't there usually no problem to do that now with ios 8.

With ios 7 and rarely with 8 as well specific trick is used.

You go to apple id site - sign in to your account and temporary change your apple id back to old email. Then you quickly sign out on the devices and change email forward.
