iPhone 6 Plus can not sync photos in iTunes

The photos tab in iTunes is greyed and thinks appear out of order. It won't let you check boxes or select from dropdown lists.User uploaded file

I'm using iPhoto to organise photos. I'm running the latest versions of all software involved. The same photos-sync operation can be performed with both iPhone 4 & 4S. Any ideas??

Hi abis,

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone and iTunes. If you are no longer seeing an option to directly sync your photos to your iPhone from iTunes, you may want to check to see if you have enabled iCloud Photo Library. If so, iCloud Photo Library will take the place of the directly syncing your photos from iTunes; you may find the information outlined in the following articles helpful:

Hi, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this isn't the case as I haven't enabled iCloud Photo Library.

As shown in the picture I don't even have the option to check the Sync Photos box- and I've pretty much tried everything. Searching the internet, it looks like other people have the same issue. Any suggestions welcome.
