remove iCloud from window 10

I am unable to uninstall iCloud from Window 10 as I need to sign out from iCloud on my window 10 first as I am preparing my old laptop as just sold to a buyer tonight.

I cannot sign out of icloud because the message says " Setup cannot continue because Outlook is not configured to have a default profile. Check your outlook settings and try again" 😕

Please advise thanks.

Since I have not had any replies but to do in Windows 10, create a new user profile with admin level then log into iCloud and then log off iCloud from that Win 10 PC/laptop and then remove the app from the settings (remove program). This way it is limited to the specific PC and does not affect your current iCloud account.
