I want to install gedit from gnu.org

Hi,

I have MAC OS as apple laptop. This I use for academic research purpose. I want to download gedit from ftp.gnu.org ftp site.I downloaded gedit 3.2.6 version.** machine does not allow me to install . It says from un identified developer…security preference. How I can change security pref.

I also want to install something like yum..in linux and gfortran compiler full lib.

Please help
