When answering or making calls on my iPhone 5, my ear seems to press more numbers.also when answering a call I can hide the number pad, but then my ear presses other buttons like mute. In other words the screen seems to be still sensitive when making

WWhy does my iPhone 5 screen seem to be still sensitive to touch when making or receiving calls?

which means I loose calls when I put it to my ear.

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.4.1

If you have a case and/or screen protector installed on the phone, remove it. Some of them can interfere with the proximity sensor.
